It is available on Spotify, Youtube, etc. The Quartet features Kurt on Vibraphone and MalletKat, Awan Rashad on saxophone, Chris Macchia on bass, and Dan Palladino on drums. Scott Petito was the recording, mixing and mastering engineer. The tracks are covers of Metheny, Shorter, Steps Ahead, 10CC, and Monk, along with 3 originals written by Kurt which utilize elements of jazz, electronica, and new classical music. KURT HERMAN AND SAMANTHA JANE RELEASE CD!!!
Kurt Herman and Samantha Jane just released their CD of jazz standards entitled All the Things You Are. It is the first vibraphone/vocal CD in jazz history. It includes Tom Charlap (bass) and Pete Sweeney (drums) on 4 of the 10 tracks. Scott Petito recorded, mixed, and mastered the album. Sarah Kenyon did the photography and CD design. Young and Foolish Release
KURT HERMAN TRIO RELEASES CD!!!
The Kurt Herman Trio recently released their new CD which is out on all the major streaming platforms. It is entitled YOUNG AND FOOLISH. The album features Kurt on vibraphone and marimba, Tom Charlap on bass, and Pete Sweeney on drums. Samantha Jane makes a guest vocalist appearance on Nature Boy.
