The Kurt Herman Electric Duo is led by Kurt Herman on his Deagan Electravibe and Alternate Mode MalletKat. They released their debut CD, Player of Games in January and you can listen to it on all streaming platforms and in the Music section here on the website. Kurt has played at venues in California and New York with classical and jazz artists including Pete Sweeney (Pat Metheny, Larry Coryell) Tarik Shah (Betty Carter, Amad Jamal) and Peter Washington (Bill Charlap, Tommy Flanagan). Dan Palladino (Dan Palladino Quartet) on electronic drums and percussion adds a unique sound. The Duo combines cinematic soundscapes with jazz improvisation. They use an onstage Dolby Atmos sound reinforcement system that uses 8 speakers in a symphonic arrangement. Their original material combines elements of Jazz, New Classical Music, and Electronica.
